As a State Worker

PYACS offers a  wide range of services to support youth and adults with complex needs. By providing multiple programs within one agency, we help you find the support you need without having to navigate several different agencies.

If a service is needed that we don’t provide directly, our team will help connect you with trusted providers in the community. Our goal is to make sure every individual and family has access to the resources and support they need.

As a state worker you will be assigned an FC who has years of experience to help you with all of your requests and client needs. They actively participate in team meetings, court proceedings, case planning, assist with family visits, scheduling medical and dental exams, mental health services, linking them to community activities, and more.  

Most of all they ensure that we are providing quality care to your client. If there is a problem, we will resolve it quickly, and to the best of our ability, without placement disruption.     

We believe that any problem big or small, always seems to start with bad or no communication.  The FC provides bi-weekly updates (via email or phone) to you and upon request, the entire team.  We report how your client is progressing in the home from activities, chores and behaviors, in school, therapy, in the community and other aspects of their life.  In our experience, we lessen the questions and work towards solutions.  We know state workers love it!
