Who We serve

You

Pioneer Youth and Adult Community Services (PYACS) serves youth and adults with complex behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs who benefit from structured, community-based care and therapeutic support.

Many of the individuals referred to our programs have experienced trauma, instability, disrupted placements, or challenges functioning in traditional home or school environments. Our programs are designed to provide the structure, support, and relationships necessary to help individuals stabilize and grow.

Individuals with Complex Behavioral and Emotional Needs

We serve youth and adults who may struggle with emotional regulation, trauma-related behaviors, defiance, aggression, anxiety, depression, or difficulty maintaining stable placements. Our programs provide structured support, supervision, and therapeutic intervention to help youth build healthy coping skills and improve relationships.

Individuals Requiring Professional Foster Care

PYACS partners with highly trained foster families who provide safe, stable homes for youth requiring a higher level of supervision, behavioral support, and consistent structure. These homes serve individuals who may have experienced multiple disruptions and need a supportive environment to stabilize and progress.

Individuals with Intellectual and Development Disabilities

Through partnerships with DSPD, we support youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who benefit from individualized care, life-skills training, and community integration supports.

Individuals Needing Day Program Services

Our Day Treatment Program supports youth and adults who need therapeutic structure during the day while continuing to live in their home, foster home, or community placement. The program focuses on emotional regulation, behavioral skill-building, social development, and coordination with families, schools, and treatment teams.

OUR COMMITMENT

Provide a Better Vision for the Future

At PYACS, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to succeed in a safe, supportive environment.

Our programs emphasize stability, accountability, skill development, and meaningful relationships, helping youth and adults build the foundation for long-term success in their homes and communities.
